Abstract
The article analyzes the results of complex expeditions to oceanic areas assigned to AtlantNIRO, where in recent decades the Atlantic branch of VNIRO has conducted research surveys. Carrying out regular research cruises allows successfully fulfilling the functions assigned to the branch on scientific and information support of Russian fisheries, assessment of aquatic biological resources and development of recommendations for their rational use.
