Optimization of approaches to growing juvenile Far Eastern sea cucumbers using an industrial method
Abstract
The paper presents the results of optimization of the technology for obtaining viable juveniles of the Far Eastern sea cucumber using an industrial method in the conditions of marine pools. The total number of settled juveniles was 8,4 million specimens, viable juveniles – 1,5 million specimens. When the juveniles reached an average weight of 0,5 g, they were landed in the water area of the Troicy Bay (Posieta Bay, Sea of Japan) for pasture growing to commercial sizes.
