Author Guidelines
The article sent to the editorial office must correspond to the thematic sections of the journal Fisheries, contain original scientific results (at least 90% originality) and be framed according to these rules. Articles should have no more than three authors with an academic degree. It is also necessary to indicate the contribution of each author to the work on the study.
At the same time, the editorial board considers up to two articles by one author / team of authors, which, if accepted, will be published.
The authors of the article observe publication ethics and are responsible for the absence of plagiarism (unfair citation) and falsification of research results in the manuscript, guarantee the reliability and reproducibility of research results according to the methods given in the manuscript. The authors also guarantee that the materials of the article are not submitted for publication in other journals (in Russian and English).
In addition to the article, it is necessary to attach an expert opinion (permission) from an affiliated organization, which will confirm the possibility of publishing these materials in the public domain.
The contract with the authors is concluded after making a positive decision on the publication of the article (the template is provided by the editorial board).

The article must be submitted in a Microsoft Word text editor.
Annotation
The article should be accompanied by a brief abstract, contain no more than 150 words and reflect the main factual information and conclusions of the article. The abstract should reflect the author's awareness of the scientific problem, the goals and objectives of the study, as well as the main conclusions.
Keywords
5-10 words and phrases reflecting the main provisions, achievements and results.
Article structure (IMRAD)
Main text
The volume of the manuscript, including illustrations and tables in the text, should be 2500 – 5000 words. Exceeding these volumes is possible, but only in agreement with the editorial board.
Introduction
The introduction contains a brief overview of the study of the problem in the world, the goals and objectives of the study, the formulation of the problem. The volume of the introduction should not exceed 500 words.
Methods
Description of specific (private) research methods, indication of participants, research materials and procedures, data analysis.
Discussion of the results
The author's point of view and direct research. Why are these results obtained? How do they fit into the context of science?
Conclusion
The conclusion should not be too long and contain the main conclusions, indicate the practical significance of the study and the direction of future research.
Thanks
Expressing gratitude to specific persons who helped the author(s), or indicating the sources of funding with the support of which the work was carried out.
Literature, according to GOST 2020
References in the text to the literature are made in square brackets [1].
The list of references is given in a separate block. Descriptions of sources (printed and electronic) are arranged by mention. Abbreviations of the names of sources (journals, publishers) are not allowed.
If the cited article has a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) (www.doi.org) it must be specified The number of literary references should be at least 35 and no more than 50 for review articles. The recommended percentage of self–citation is no more than 20%.
The main number of literary sources should not be older than 5 years.
An example of a correct link, according to GOST 2020:

The materials sent must be designed in accordance with the Rules for the design of materials adopted by the editorial Board of the journal "Fisheries".
Reports and other speeches that do not have the form of a scientific article with a scientific apparatus, except for articles in the section "Maritime policy", are not accepted for publication as articles.
Materials that do not meet all the above requirements will not be accepted by the editorial board for consideration.
Reasons why an article may be rejected
- The originality of the article is less than 90%
- The content of the article does not correspond to the subject of the journal
- Non-compliance with 5 or more items from the requirements imposed by the editorial board of the journal "Fisheries" to the articles
- Authors do not respond to editorial letters for more than 1 month
- The list of cited literature is not complete enough and does not reflect the world experience on the research topic
- Negative reviews
